5:25PM - Psycho
I went to FYE and browsed for some cheap as dirt movies. I got really excited when i saw Psycho, it's one of my favorite movies. Then i got really disappointed when i noticed the cover was in color and it was R rated... this Psycho wasn't a Hitchcock. However Danny Elfman did music for this version and I just really wanted to see how he spruced it up.
But what i'm getting at is... Wouldn't it be amazing if Tim Burton did a remake of Psycho, casted Depp as Norman Bates, and Danny of course would do the music?
It would be really simiar to what Hitchcock does... He has his own "Danny," too. There was only one guy who did all his music and he constantly recasted the same stars for many of his movies.

Hey there, my name is Moe and obviously I'm new here. I found this community and had to join for the love of all three of these amazing men.
For my senior year my band is putting Elfman on the field for marching band (thanks to moi). We are playing Main Titles from Beetlejuice, Augustus Gloop from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, What's This from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ice Dance from Edward Scissorhands, and bits of the two pieces from Good Will Hunting. I think we should have done Big Fish or Corpse Bride insted of GWH. Now, I've never seen GWH. All I know is that Robin Williams is in it. Is that movie any good? And what are the songs that Elfman did like? Anyway, the show is called Music for a Darkened Theater after his CD, eventhough GWH isn't on either....

11:47PM - Good Morning, Starshine...
This is the community I've been looking for; I worship all things Burton, Elfman and Depp related.
I recently completed my 17th viewing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I painted this on my wall to celebrate...

Oh. My. God. I'm going to interview Johnny Depp. I am in shock. So the story is that I am required (by the school district) to do a senior project in order to graduate from High School, and we have to have a mentor to help us. So my mentor just happens to be a director and she is soooo cool. I spoke to her on Friday, and she asked what I was doing my project on... I said that I was doing it on Tim Burton's movies... she says "oh, I can help you do your research paper too... I know Johnny Depp; I can e-mail him (he's currently in the Bahamas filming Pirates 2) and ask him some questions about Tim..." I almost had a heart attack. I can't beleive that this is happening...
Sorry for the long post.

Hi, my name is Karla and I just joined this community. I have always been a fan of Tim Burton's and Danny Elfman's and of Johnny Depp's. My oldest childhood memory is watching Edward Scissorhands and thinking that it was just so beautiful. I love all of their work and I'm glad that I found a community where people share an interest in all three of these guys!

"Corpse Bride" toys?
Didn't know if anyone else heard about it. :)
I think I'm really going to like Victor in the movie. I thought he was fairly amusing in the trailer.
Okay, so I'm bored at work.
I found an early review of the "Corpse Bride." Didn't know if any of you have seen it, so I decided to post it. From what I've heard, it's got some plot spoilers/info. I haven't read it yet. Click here.

9:40PM - A looooong update
I got to see "Willy wonka and the chocolate factory"
Oh, my god, Once again Tim Burton is a God. Loved it 10/10 awsome movie. Johnny did wonderfully in that role. It was wierd to see him like that. The only other two movies he acted in that were anywhere NEAR that.... area of acting was Jack Sparrow and Icabod Crane (Craine). But just the facial expression sand the way he said this characters lines. It was really good. I enjoyed it greatly. Then i was watching the ending credits (cause i have that kind of time) Now i may be wrong. But i am Very sure of what i saw. Danny Elfman. Our Danny. Picture him in your minds eye for a moment. Okay now picture the oompaloompa's in this movie. got it? okay. Um, Danny Elfman. Did the vocals. meaning He was the one singing!!! The oompaloompa songs. WHAT!?!?! Like i said "I might be wrng" But that's what i thought i read in the ending credits. He did good singing as Jack form "Nightmare before christmas" But as oompaloompa's? that scared me.
Also i saw the previews for "Corpse Bride" and i want to see more, and more, and more, and more! I can hardly wait!!!! I'm gonna start counting down. Laters!
